Both sides of the form will be taught in a way that allows the practioner to perform both sides of the set. In the old days a student was taught either fire side or water side and it was rare to know both sides.
This form is very well known for being the basis for of all staff work shown in the television series "KUNG FU" starring David Carradine. This form was taught to us by our Grandmaster Kam Yuen who was the fight choreographer for almost the entire series.
